I founded The Chocolate Cult in February 2009 to help me and other chocolate lovers learn more about chocolate, how it is made, understand its importance in society, and to enable us to make the best choices possible about where to spend our money on chocolate. We have tested chocolate products and related products from 220 companies, brands, and individuals (as of January 25, 2015). We follow a specific procedure to test and write about our experiences using as many senses as possible. We cover anything made from any part of the cocoa tree or that deals with chocolate or promotes chocolate. Starting in February 2015 we will beging charging modest fees for some of the articles we have been asked to write that fall outside of our feature articles and accompanying interviews with the creators behind the products we test. We have readers in 183 countries but sadly while they read they don't comment much. We'd love to change that so if you have advice, we're ready to listen.
