Got curious and looked it up. They are one and the same:"Frangipani (Plumeria rubra), also known as the Hawaiin Lei flower, is native to warm tropical areas of the Pacific Islands, Caribbean, South America and Mexico. Frangipani is withstand subtropical climate. Temple Tree, Champa, Dead man's fingers, Egg Flower (southern China) Amapola (Venezuela) are other synonyms of Frangipani." They grow here, too. there is a whole tree in there..I don't have a wide angle lens to capture the space which is so small.The flowers here are called plumerias.
