Been farming cacao trees in Dominica since 2010, making chocolate there on the island and in the states. We planned on living off the land and creating a sustainable farm, setting up hydropower etc. then began making chocolate to understand what trees were growing around us and to choose intentionally which ones to propogate and work with. Also, because i had initially been flying down to the Caribbean with Chocolate bars bought in the states, while looking around and seeing the pods growing around me. Currently working in Northern California with Sierra Seed Cooperative doing an internship for saving herloom seeds, making bean to bar and exploring cacao beans of this world! Farm to Bar~~ love
