Philadelphia Chocolate?

Hello,

It's been a while since I've visited The Chocolate Life. When I was here last, my favorite place to eat chocolate was a small place in Philly called Naked Chocolate Cafe. From what I have heard, they aren't there anymore. Their website was never much help (and still isn't).

So, my question is, is there a cafe type of place where I can get some really nice chocolate in or around Philly?

Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi Dee,

There is a chocolate lounge on Catherine and 6th called Golosa Cafe. Fabio is the owner and is from Florence. He makes an amazing hot chocolate and offers chocolates that he imports from his friend Andrea Biachini of Florence. http://golosacafe.com/ABforGolosa.html

Hi Dee,

If you are still looking for places in Philly there is a nice shop called The Painted Truffle. I am not sure where in Philly it is but it is definitely worth the time to look them up. The owners name is Tom. Very personable individual that will make your shopping experience extraordinary! Good luck!

I recently went to Philadelphia and enjoyed Marcie Blaine chocolates on 13th St. Its inside a womens boutique and across from an excellent gelato shop. MArcie had a delicious peanut butter pretzel truffle. We also enjoyed Galosa Cafe near the historic district. Worth finding...The owner made us incredible hot and cold chocolate drinks. The cafe is open eve and also has desserts and chocolates from Tuscany. You can even BYOB to spike the chocolate drinks.
