Marc Donaldson

Marc Donaldson is a Senior Partner at On The Ball Consulting. Marc has experience in development and marketing of cocoa and chocolate products for over 30 years, 17 of which have been in Asia. Previously, He has held senior executive posts at Delfi Cocoa (part of the Petra Foods Group), where he was Director for Cocoa Sustainability and also President and Head of Europe, previously with Barry Callebaut, where he was the Managing Director for Asia Pacific. Marc has in-depth knowledge of cocoa & chocolate as commodities, manufacturing and process knowledge, R&D innovation, Consumer Product Development, Profitable Sustainability, and also has hands on experience of M&A in Asia, particularly in China. Core competencies/expertise include: Understanding management of the economics of cocoa processing, Understanding marketing of industrial chocolate products to brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide, Understanding & execution of sourcing of cocoa beans and Profitable Cocoa Sustainability.
