I have not changed it since it was built. I think the vibration is a little soft but I've also never used a professional model. I did try stiffer springs but that made the table jump around as they were too stiff. I could not find many vibratory motors for the same price point. Although I can fit two miles in the table, I only fill one at a time. I think it would work a little better if I pre-heated my molds. Hope this helps.
I basically just picked one that I thought would work for me. I looked at Vibco motor but they cost more. Although, they are much more industrial. The springs I picked up at ACE Hardware. I don't know the exact specs. Here again, I picked out what I thought would work based on feel. They seemed stiff enough.
I personally think this will be much better than the dental vibrators. I have been using a small one that I attached a wooden top. It works, but I've never liked it that much.

So, how is that working for you?
I really like the design and will be building it soon. Please let me know if you've made any changes
The vibrator motor is a Dayton 10C903 that I purchased from Grainger. You can see it here: http://www.grainger.com/product/DAYTON-Vibrator-Motor-10C903
1/100 HP, 2900 RPM, 8 lb force, 7 in./sec velocity.

I'll post my experience after I use it.

This is really sweet. What are the specs on the vibrator motor and the springs?
