Ghent University's Cocoa and Chocolate Bean-to-Bar Workshop will be from August 26th to September 10, 2015 in Ghent, Belgium: http://www.cacaolab.be/workshop . Everyone is eligible to attend, although it is preferred that you have a Bachelor's degree in agriculture and a good ability to speak English. Applications are due the 15th of May and for those from eligible countries, http://www.vliruos.be/en/countries/overview/ , scholarship applications are due on April 15, 2015!

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, the stipulations of a VLIR fellowship require that you must be 45 years or younger to receive a fellowship for the training: http://www.vliruos.be/en/scholarships/scholarships-to-study-in-flanders,-belgium/requisites-and-criteria-to-get-a-scholarship/
There is also the option of paying for the course which is 2500 euros. Please let me know if you'd like more information.

I am Ernesto Pantua Jr. of Kablon Farm Foods Corporation a family owned diversified farm, operates a multicropped farm with a small multifruit processing facility including a bean to bar project, located in Tupi, South Cotabato in the Island of Mindanao of the Philippines. Would like to know if I could qualify for scholarship for next year's course. I will be 57 yrs old next year, a graduate of Agricultural Engineering at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, been working in the farm since graduation of 1980.

Thank you for reaching out. Yes the workshop runs every year in August and September. Usually the deadline for scholarships is the end of April so make sure to get your application in by the end of April next year!

Im so disspointed that Im not gonna be able to apply for a scolarship since I fullfill the requirments.
