This holiday season give the gift of chocolate, and make a difference in the lives of African cocoa farmers.
Global Gifts That Matter is an online store produced by the Global Giving Circle that highlights social enterprises and high impact non-profits many of which support their work through the sale of items suitable for gifting.
One of the organizations that is participating in ChrismaHanuKwanzakah is Project Hope & Fairness (PH&F), a non-profit founded in 2006 by chocolatier, Tom Neuhaus of Sweet Earth Organic Chocolates. Tom is a member of TheChocolateLife.com. PH&F is making available a range of items for donation amounts ranging from $25-$100. These items include selections of Sweet Earth Organic Chocolates and proceeds go to support PH&F's efforts to help cacao farmers/.
PH&F assists African cocoa farmers who suffer disproportionately from the inequities in the world cocoa trade.
The entertainment for the evening will include improvised skits featuring members of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre who will turn awkward family holiday moments, worst gifts ever received and other experiences that make the holidays “cringe-worthy” into side-splitting hilarity. Ticket sales will benefit Urban Arts Partnership, a non-profit organization that provides arts programs to underserved inner city public schools in New York. Tickets include a glass of white/red wine or a non-alcoholic beverage, holiday treats and party favors!
Tickets are on sale now , at $25 per ticket plus a $1 handling fee. Use coupon code GGC to save $10 per ticket!
What your donation to Project Hope and Fairness brings (left-half of photo) and your thank-you gift (right-half of photo):
$25 - Machetes
$50 - boots
$75 - dryness meter
$100 - scale
