Would you like to visit the Salon du Chocolat this year – and get an insider view of the show and Parisian chocolate?

The Discover Chocolate in Paris 2010 Tour package includes:

Admission passes to the Salon – and no waiting in line to pick up your show passes.

Personal introductions to top chocolatiers at the show. In 2009 this included Stéphane Bonnat, Francois Pralus, Jean-Paul Hevin, Sadaharu Aoki, Stéphane Glacier, members of the Cluizel family – and many more.

Private dinner with Stéphane Bonnat.

Chocolate walking tour of the Left Bank (Constant, Aoki, Hermes, Laduree, Roger – and more) and the Right Bank (including lunches).

Guide to the top patisseries and chocolate shops in Paris (including where to get the best chocolat chaud).

Still working on: another dinner with a top chocolatier and a “sophisticated pairings” tasting class featuring wines, spirits, chocolates, cheeses, cured meats, salts, oils, and vinegars.

Cost per person is $400 and does not include transportation, accommodation, or meals not mentioned. The Salon dates are October 28 – November 1 inclusive; program dates are October 28 – October 31.

The group will consist of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people. Current number of people committed to attending: 2.

If you are interested in participating, send me a private message - RSVPing here does not guarantee your participation.

If you're looking for hotel rooms in Paris around this time, two sites to check out are www.booking.com and www.laterooms.com . On laterooms.com I just found a hotel (The Hotel Velos Vaugirard) within a 10-minute walk of the venue for US$85/night!
