Explore The World of Chocolate

Hub SoMa is partnering with the Global Cocoa Project to bring to you "Explore The World of Chocolate" benefiting Project Hope and Fairness:  a non-profit organization that assists African cocoa farmers who suffer disproportionately from the inequities in the world cocoa trade.The evening will showcase leading chocolate companies who are committed to doing business in a fair and responsible way with cocoa farmers across the globe.  

This event is one of several ways to create awareness around the issues facing cocoa farmers around the world and especially in West Africa where the farmers are among the poorest.  By buying chocolate from chocolate companies that have built their businesses using ethical principles and value chains that support farmers, a consumer contributes in a more fundamental way to the sustainability of not only a company worth supporting, but also the farmers.
