The event was really fun. Thanks, Clay!
My husband Dean Morgan will be in New York (for a few hours only) on Sunday and will do his best to attend. He has just been in Bolivia sourcing cacao beans.
Ahh I am so disappointed I won't be able to come anymore either - no one told me about an 80th birthday party! Anyway, I truly hope it goes well and that another similar event is held soon!
Just FYI, this event was listed over at the NY Chocolate Meetup group and there are more than ten more people attending than have RSVPd here.
Brady - sorry to hear you won't be able to make it. PayPei (and everyone) last-minute sign-ups and walk-ins are welcome!
I would love to be in on this discussion but I won't be able to make this event this time.
I'll try my best to attend but can't know for sure until Sat (4/24). Sorry for the uncertainty.
Hi Evert-Jan! I've never tried his chocolate bars before and I'm curious. I have tasted his truffles and they were delicious so it makes me want to try his bars even that much more. You would think NYC has everything but that's simply not true. There's a chance I might be visiting Brussels this fall so hopefully then & of course some beer
@New Nawe Girl I see Gerbaud from time to time, is there a particular reason you want to try a bar from him?
I've always wanted to try the plain dark Laurent Gerbaud bar but if you can't no worries Clay.
Any special requests for chocolate to be served?
